Hi Caroline,

I live in in Melbourne and have been doing online ancestry research for some years now so I should be able to give you some hints and tips. My main focus is on Friesland, but have looked at the sources of various of the other provinces as well.

If you are interested in ancestry info or any translations, let me know your email address and I'll send you my phone number.

Sylvia

Caroline, you can find links to a lof of other websites on this BHIC site. Point to "over ons" and then to "links". Choose "genealogie" on the next page. Links to websites of regional archives in the province of Noord-Brabant, collections of "bidprentjes" and so on will show.
A good website for links to sources is www.geneaknowhow.net; you can find this site on the links page too.
Some archives collaborate in the portal www.digitalestamboom.nl.

Hallo Caroline,
You can use WWW.Genlias.nl You can click on the button for the enlish language. The information is avalable 100 years after birth, 75 years after mariage and 50 years after death. But not every register is up to date, it takes time to complete. You can also use WWW.Stamboom.nl Success with your search.
