I've found that Johannes Franciscus Gerardus Theodorus Esselaar was born in Amsterdam on march 3rd, 1878. He arrived in Cuijk on 07.07.1899 to study at the convent of Cuijk. Therefore he had lived in Diest (Belgium) and a while in Uden.
On 09.03.1906 he became a Priest (Kruisheer) in Uden. On 15.08.1939 he died in 's-Hertogenbosch at the age of 61 years.
His father's name was Gerardus Esselaar and his mother's name was Johanna Diergaard.

Please can you give me information about Johannes Franciscus Gerardus Theodorus Esselaar. He was my great grandfather's cousin (Theodorus Johannes Gerhardus, born 1877). My great grandfather left Amsterdam with his wife and 1 child in 1903/4 and went to South Africa. We have little information about the Esselaar family back in Holland.
