Oct.30 team of Eng.Coy/FJR.6 are taken POW in a brief fight.
Corp.Heinz Kaufmann & para Winfried Ralf of I./FJR.2 'Finzel' which acted as 2nd Btl. for FJR.6 at that time, as II./FJR.6 was operating independendly under Korps orders for most of the time.
Ralf was serious wounded,and previously wounded on Oct.16 during the battle for Woensdrecht.
As he was recovering from that he was assigned to the Eng.Coy.
P.Dijkwel and J.de Waal were most likely wounded as well.
On arrival the civillian population acted promptly by gathering as close as possible , as they new what would was about to take place.
In doing so 3 civillians were wounded too.
K.Vos severe leg injury, J.M.Pipping minor injury to the cheek and A.Vos minor injury to the face.
I believe K.Vos died later of his wound.
Somewhat later the acting Commander of the Eng.Coy.Lt.Harald Müller was captured in a brief fight.
He was a veteran of Afrika,Dieppe and the Eastern Front.
He was Commander of 3.Coy. of FJR.6,but assigned to the Eng.Coy. either to recover or take a break as his entire Coy almost seas to exist on Oct.16 on their westerly attack on RHLI at Nederheide,Woensdrecht.
One third of his Coy was KIA as the sat on a StuH.42.G of the famous StuG.Brigade 280 (Battle for Arnhem) that ran on one of their own EID's on the Putseweg.

During this fight Cor van Gerven was shot in lung and leg.
POW's. Lt.H.Müller, Gefr.H.Kaufmann and 5 of Bau.Pi.Btl.812 were handed over on Oct.31 to the a LO of the Manitoba Dragoons and led via Thoolseweg to Bergen op Zoom,just south of the main battle-line and crashsite.
Nov.4 10.Coy./FJR.6 evacuated that line for a new one towards Steenbergen.
