I have previously searched on Google for Liberation Children, but have not always found a great deal of information.
Sadly our mother and father took their secret to their graves.

I don't know whether a baptismal record can help and has more info? You won't know until you've tried.

A birth certificate (the legal document) may sometimes contain a note that a child was 'legalized' at the time of marriage. The child then continues under the name of this father who- legally- will be the child's father... though he maybe or maybe not the biological father.

I have a small list of names of children born in 1945 and 'recognized' and /or 'legalized' in 1945 in Deurne but I don't know at all if these children were so called 'bevrijdingskinderen'. It doesn't say...only notes their names, DOB's and that they were recognized and/or legalized at certain dates in 1945. Some of their parents did not marry until the year after or even later. Please note: I will not send this info in an open forum. I am not on FB nor on MyHeritage or any of these platforms, but you can ask staff here at BHIC to pass me your emailaddress me and I will sent you some of this info.. if it can help you in your search ...and.. if your search is indeed applicable to someone in Deurne.. Your information is very helpful. Indeed, it does relate to someone who lived in Deurne Netherlands. I also have to be careful of privacy as there are still a great many relatives who live in Deurne.
As I live in Australia, I find it difficult difficult to obtain information, or even understand where to find it.
All governments and churches in different countries have their own way of doing things. Also having a very limited understanding of the Dutch language does not help.
I will certainly contact BHIC and give them permission to pass my email address on to you.
I will then also be able to explain my family's circumstances to you in more detail and privately.
